Who we are

Behind mallorca-plus.de is a group of long-time friends who are lucky enough to call Mallorca their home. We have lived on this beautiful island for years and know it like the back of our hand.

What began as mutual help among friends has over time become a real mission: we want to help others experience and make the most of Mallorca the way we do - without detours, without nasty surprises and with the quality you can expect from real insiders.

Why we do this

Anyone who has ever looked for reliable information or good services on Mallorca knows the problem: it is not always easy to separate the wheat from the chaff. This is exactly where we come in.

We pool our knowledge, our contacts and our experience to give you information and services you can really rely on. Whether you live on the island, want to move here or simply want to make the most of your stay - we are here for you.

What we stand for

How we work

Mallorca Plus is created according to journalistic principles. We research every topic we publish on the basis of official Spanish sources (Agencia Tributaria, Seguridad Social, Dirección General de Tráfico, Govern de les Illes Balears) and cross-check the details against our own experience and that of our community. When fees, deadlines or laws change, we update the affected articles promptly. Every article names the author, the publication date and, where relevant, the date of the last revision.

When selecting the providers in the directory we follow a fixed checklist: we check the business registration, contact the provider personally, review Google ratings from the past twelve months and ask whether German-language communication is possible. Only when every point fits do we add a provider. We finance our work through affiliate partnerships and sponsored listings - we label both transparently.

What you can expect from us

Our aim is to give you exactly the information you need to make a decision. No filler sentences, no empty marketing promises. When a topic is complex - for example Modelo 720 or importing a car - we break it down into understandable steps, state prices in realistic ranges and link to the responsible authorities. When we do not know something ourselves, we say so and point you to experts.
